Development Manager Indian / Specialty Chef

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Indian and specialty chefs for opportunities across Germany, the Netherlands, and Ireland. Demand for authentic Indian cuisine continues to create opportunities for skilled chefs in European hospitality markets.

Successful candidates should have 2–6 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of Indian cuisine, preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food quality standards.

Depending on the destination and employer, eligible candidates may be supported through the applicable Specialty Chef Visa (Spezialitätenkoch) pathway.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience preparing authentic Indian cuisine
• 2–6 years of relevant professional chef experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Ability to work effectively in a professional kitchen environment
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices
• Ability to work as part of a multicultural hospitality team
• Adaptability to European workplace environments

Education + Experience

• 2–6 years of relevant professional chef experience
• Experience in Indian or specialty cuisine preferred
• Professional culinary training or equivalent practical experience may be considered
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage
